Magic and reality are terms which seldom are used together. However, when we mention a butterfly we need to make an exception due to the fact that they are filled with great beauty, colors, diversity and forms. They are essential creatures for nature and they serve as food for predators. They fill the planet and people who watch them with life and magic.
Who could deny watching their wings that not only do they serve as camouflage but also to convey signals to other butterflies. They transcend their self, they create envy in us by being able to fly; by being able to reach unprecedented places; by remaining unnoticed but also be admired for their beauty.
This work represents some of their marvelous color range, which is part of their magic to harmonize with their surroundings, something that we have not yet been able to do. Besides contemplating them, we have so much to learn from their relationship with nature.
