Mural Title: Extension of Our Soul
Hands that paint themselves, a means by which man creates, destroys, communicates in multiple ways, colors and signs. A gesture of prayer, an emotional state, a culture, a butterfly, a language, maybe a contact with the picturesque art and another sphere, another way of perceiving the universe, non visual, non auditory, a gesture for the blind or simply without having to open one’s eyes the capacity to feel the flapping of the wings that you carry within. How many other ways exist in the peace of our souls and that we egocentrically limit ourselves to express them with just one of our sense? How could we build them in the darkness of night, witho
ut the moonlight and the antenna of our hearts?
Our hands speak; they are the fusion of our spirit with the body. Today they represent a pair of wings, a movement. That larva buried deep within ourselves, feeds itself off of hope and dreams. They are now ready to fly!
